How was everyone's Easter..Mine was so-so...It SNOWED here in Germany so we froze our tootsies off. But everyone had a good day. I wish I got shots of the baskets the Easter Bunny left before the kiddo's got to them, but alas the kids got to them first.

The shot above is of the Easter tree I decorated when I was supposed to be hiding eggs for the squadron's Easter egg hunt. I got a little bored hiding. There just wasn't enough hiding places, so I went to Easter egg decorating.

My car goes to the Dr. tommorrow as the German Weasels got into it and ate something so they have to check it out..wish me luck...

Diamonds are a girls best friend ???

Call me a brat, call me spoiled rotten, whatever..but hubby and I are sitting here arguing right now because...(sit down) he wants to buy me diamonds and I DON'T want them. I'm so picky about my diamonds and to be honest I wouldn't wear them anywhere. He thinks I'm being selfish and I should think about my children and leave them something to hand down to them. WHAT??? Buy something so it can sit around until I die and then give it to my kids???

I'd rather spend the money on something I actually want..a new couch, a new dining room table???

A day at the spa with no kids by myself--with no kids -- quiet --have I mentioned no kids yet??

So am I being absolutely unreasonable because I just don't want diamonds...oh and I think I hurt his feelings because I told him that the pair of pearl earrings he bought for me I didn't like...because I just don't wear earrings. He expects me to pay attention to him and what his likes and dislikes are but he doesn't even notice I hardly wear jewelry and when I do I like to wear unusual kinds not sparkly glittery stuff.

I think I may have bitten of more than I can proverbially chew this semester. I am so damn tired and my classes are so intensive!!!! I am doing a paper or 2 a week. Add that to the fact that I have to post to some 2 conference in each class (there are 3), I am overrun. Right now I'm trying to get the kids to help out by just being quite.

(Y'all can quit laughing now!!!)

Also, they've put me back on my topamax prescription as I'm allergic to my house. Here's the dealio there. On topamax I lose weight, so I have to take a supplement (ensure, boost, whatever??) yay me...

I need a nap..anyone want to come give me one???

One of "those" people??

I was on another message board and we were 'discussing' the fact that sometimes we had 'those' neighbors. You know the one's who you can't stand.

~~ The one who calls all the time
~~ who expects you to watch their kids at a moments notice.
~~ who always offers to do things for you..that you don't necessarily want them to.
~~ the one's who are just too nice.

I started wondering...Am I one of 'those' people? Do I not respect personal space?
Do I tell too much personal stuff about myself?

Ok I know I'm probably the last one. I do not have a filter and sometimes I will tell too much, but hey. That' me. As for the rest, I don't think so, but who knows.

So, this led to a discussion about 'friends' we wish we hadn't made and I've got a couple of those too...but I'm much too nice to 'break-up' with them. I always worry about hurting other's feelings and well just don't want the drama that goes with it...

I'm in a human sexuality class this semester and one of our first assignments was to talk about how the media influences sexuality.

I'm old and apparently don't listen to music or watch TV as people were bring up all kinds of shows and songs that I didn't even know about or hadn't seen. Shoot.

I thought I was a 'hip' mom...you know I listen to that 'superman' song..well at least I did until I found out what it was about...

So my friends (all two of you) we are having some EVIL computer problems this week...

1) Steven's whole flippin hard drive crashed!!! We kept getting an 'can't find operating system' message on his computer...bahhhhhhh -- What'll be funny is he has a class in Ramstein the week after next and will have to take my PRETTY pink computer with him to the class...

2) My vonage router crashed which led to my wireless router crashing...again bahhhhh

3) I had to reset up the wireless router...me?? that sucks the big one..I hate dealing with computers..thank goodness a friend has offered to come help me.

DAMN EVIL COMPUTERS!!!

I am NOT electrically inclined..I don't want to be electrically inclined...I want a man to do it for me damnit...:D
