I've heard good things about Spot Shot.

You can also try OxyClean. That stuff is amazing.

Mix OxyClean in a small bottle with water. about 40/60% shake it up really well, and then soak it. If you can use a squeese bottle, it helps to use some pressure. (if you don't have a squeeze bottle, use a water bottle with a small hole in it on top)

I find Spot Shot works best for me (the aerosol can, not the spray bottle)

Pour Club Soda on the spot and have plenty of WHITE towels handy. Lay the white towels over the spot to soak up...keep pouring club soda and soaking up with towels...that should do the trick and won't leave any chemical residue behind that will attract dirt.

Definitely pour the club soda over it! I spilled wine in my carpet one time and poured club soda over the stain and then baking soda over the club soda. Worked like a charm! Good luck!
