Ahhh Christmas has come and gone and we can get back to the usual Moore family household things...

So, anyway our Christmas was good...

The kids (as usual) got way too much and I got what I asked for...so, what did you get..

and some new perfume, and a really soft robe from bath and body works....

Time goes by and by and by

Is it just me or does time seem to go by fast this time of year...I really don't think I've spent a night at home yet....(oh wait I have, but it doesn't seem that way) Between BUNCO, BINGO and this party, that party..blah blah blah...I don't have time to do anything!!!

Don't even throw the you don't HAVE to go to BINGO and BUNCO...because I would have to say..get out yes I do!!!

Tonight we get to stay at home..(I think)...maybe???

So my bloggy friends and people who read my blog (all three of you...) what do you put on top of your tree...(providing you have one) or if you don't celebrate Christmas what would you????

Me, I want an Angel always always (have I mentioned always yet????) an Angel. I think it's pretty and I like it.....

Steven on the other hand wants a Star and we've never had a Star on top of our tree. This year he used Lizzie to get his way....yes, he talked her into a Star, so I being the big pushover I am ordered her one of Ebay. So, we took down the Angel and now have a Star on the tree...it just doesn't look the same to me.....

SIGH!!!!!!!

Hurt Feelings..

My feelings are VERY hurt right now...I thought I was doing something nice and all I've gotten is attitude and grief...

It's the most wonderful time of the year...I love it..CHRISTMAS is here. It's actually the first Christmas in FOREVER that I feel like celebrating. (Just ask my checkbook)~ Scrooge, errr I mean Steven, is not...might be because I've been spending like it's D-Day. (sooo not kidding there).

So, do you have your Christmas shopping done?? Mine is, well except for the little things I've been picking up here and there....

Wanna know a secret.....a funny funny secret...ok here it is shhhhh don't tell anyone..



that is what we bought Kat for Christmas, but (and here's the funny secret here)...Steven has been using the camera since..oh HALLOWEEN..because Liz accidentally dropped ours off the plane last summer and the lens broke..(I did buy a new one and it's on the way)..

TOW: I Break My Foot

Isn't it pretty??? Yep it was!! I got to go to the real German
doctor and get some real neat German drugs...YAY ME!!!

Here's my story (and I'm sticking to it!!)

I volunteered to be the Outdoor Food chair at our Fall Bazaar (felt more like winter to me), it was a pain in my *** or better yet a pain in my foot.

One of my 'duties' was to set up outdoor food tents with tables and benches..Well in the setting up of the tables and benches I dropped said table on my foot. It hurt!!! I went to the EMS tent when it first happened and they said I was fine so I walked around on it for about an hour or so..it really started to hurt so I went ot talk to my friends and they looked at it and said it looked broken..Called the EMS people again and I was sent to the hospital..My knight in shining armor CARRIED me to the car and we went to the German doctor...The German doctor was so nice and FAST!!! They also gave me some great drugs..(which I thought was ibuprofen until I felt really warm and fuzzy).

Well, Steven wasn't happy that I still went back to the bazaar and finished my duties and helped out where I could because I felt I needed to!!! (the German drugs were helping too)

So I'm 'supposed' to be on a pair of crutches now, but I can't walk on them so I'm just well doing what I can until my foot starts to hurt and then I sit down and rest (I might be milking it a bit also...just saying) Just kidding Steven!!!

I HATE this time of year...the changing from nice to chilly to cold to nice to cold to chilly to nice..well I'm sure you get the picture here.

I ALWAYS get a damn cold...ALWAYS...me, when I get a cold I go on..keep going to the damn meetings..and well just take some damn day-quil. Steven on the other hand thinks he's dying...the big BABY!!!

Lately we've been in bed and going to sleep by 9 pm. (I feel old!!!) Well actually Steven goes to sleep first and then I try to get to sleep for his farting and coughing and basically making icky noises..again damn him.

So, anyhow the whole point of this post is that Steven is a big baby!!! Mr. I'm sick..blah blah blah...

A little backstory first:

When Connor was younger and learning where his eyes, ears, nose...(you get the picture) where I taught him where his 'glutus maximus' was..he would laugh and point to his butt..too damn funny...

so, this week the remote was lost and Lizzie was looking for it...the conversation went like this...

Liz: Kat get off your glutus maximus so I can see if the remote is there.

Kat: What's a glutus maximus???

Me: Your butt...

Kat: Oh well then..it's a glutus minimus...

SLACKER--Update

Ok I'm a slacker I admit it...I'm sorry for (fill in excuse here) blah blah blah..How about we just go straight to a little update.

~~ I'm potty training Connor this week...Wow he's a stinker...It's more like who's more stubborn around here..(he's winning)...He will go only when he wants to. So I set a timer and EVERY thirty minutes its to the potty for us..He's the ONLY kid I've ever met that pees on command.

~~ Still working with Lizzies Daisy troop, the OCSC and Bazaar. (Amanda YOU would know this if you actually READ my blog...)

~~ Just finished mid-terms. Now I have a six page article critique due on the 14th...Can we say ughhhh....

~~ Ummm yeah that's about all...

~~ OMG I'm UBER excited....Army Wives just started here..I love it already..

Whew!!!!

Boy sometimes you just get busy!!! When do you know too much is too much???? When you fall from exhaustion? When the kids think their life is to 'go to meetings'? I think I'm about there. I don't have a 'real' job per say but I do volunteer ALOT apparently. Why, you ask?? because if I had to stay home I'd go C.R.A.Z.Y. (Maybe I'm already there!!) What exactly do I volunteer at?? Well let's go there..

1) OCSC (for you civilians--Officer's Civilian Spouses Club--think ladies who lunch ;) ) --I do the newsletter...not too much about once a month I put it together and another day I edit and pitch it in people's mailboxes.

2) Bazaar Board--Outdoor Food Chair...We have a bazaar every year--this year I'm the outdoor food chair..I'm responsible for the outdoor food vendors..make sure everything works..blah blah blah..blah blah blah...I only did this because someone said it was 'easy'..LIARS...or should I say I've got SUCKER written on my forehead!!

3) PTSA President -- Now that is EASY simply because I have great people working with me..(should you every find this blog..thank you ladies)

4) Daisy Scout Leader -- this was only because Lizzie couldn't get in the troop unless they had another parent stepped up...however...I don't really have to do anything except come to the meetings...which I would do anyway because it's what Lizzie wanted to do.

I'm not answering my phone anymore...just in case someone asks me to do something...

Now, I've got to go make some desserts for Steven's squadron's dessert auction tommorrow...

Anything you want me to do??????? Just ask me I've got SUCKER written on my face....

AHHH life is BACK to NORMAL!!

Steven went back to work today...(Can I get a big YAY from the crowd??...only me well ok..)

I tell you I seriously NEEDED him to get the hell out of the house and leave me alone go back to work.

Yesterday no kidding...he was on my LAST nerve (one I didn't even know I had..but he was ON it!!!) he would talk and it was like someone would take their nails to the chalkboard. My skin would crawl, I'd have goosebumps up and down my body, and I would physically CRINGE!@!!!

Now don't get me wrong...I love the man, but too much time together does not do good things to us..He was trying to ASSERT HIS AUTHORITY (anyone hear Cartman from South Park there???) in this house the whole time he was home. From the I know how to do laundry (and why isn't it done every day?? but boy can he make the whites white!!) to the fighting with Katherine...

All in all....I would've had to be bailed out if he'd stayed home ANY longer..

Now back to 'real' life around here...

SIGH...it's good to be home!!
