Here she is Ms. Lizzie Turned 5 this week...5..you know what that means??? Yep, you are right..Steven is OLD and I look like a million bucks..thank you very much. Now for those that don't know Lizzie or well read here that much..Lizzie is our little momma. She is truly an Old soul. Lizzie is the one who will tell ME what to do ...a normal conversation with Lizzie goes something like this..

Lizie: Mom, Katherine needs to be grounded because of blah..blah...blah...

Me: Umm...OK

Lizzie: (at top of her lungs) KATHERINE YOU ARE GROUNDED.

Katherine: Mom, Lizzie grounded me..

Me: What did you do?

Katherine: Nothing.

Lizzie then recites usually a list of punishable offenses

Me: Ok come talk to me later..I've got a headache.

so, what did Lizzie want for her present this year??? a tattoo on her back..I obliged as you can see...what can I say I'm a GOOD MOM..up for mother of the year you know??

If you get a chance pop over to Toni's blog..it was her birthday yesterday. She's quite a funny lady..(even in person)..get a few drinks in her and like the rest of us...she gets funnier...

Isn't she adorable??? I won't tell you how much we paid for her..less you have a heart attack..(or well Steven has a heart attack again...)

It's Been a BUSY week here..I have 2 mid-terms...1 in Computers for Dummies and 1 in Statistics..(god help me on that one...) I'm only aiming for a C in the stats one and an A in computers would be great.

Our First Stitches

Well, It's O.F.F.I.C.I.A.L....he's a boy!!! We got our first (of many I am assured) set of stitches Friday night. Nice Huh??? He was jumping on the couch...first of all I said JUMPING.ON.THE.FLIPPIN.COUCH. and hit a piece of metal that I had put on the couch to keep him from using it as a weapon against his sister

~~aside here~~ he loves to hear his sisters scream any which way he can..he found a metal bar that goes in the closet and likes to chase them around to hear them yell...I can put it up..he'll find it...BRAT~~aside over~~

Anywho...he hit the metal bar and GASHED his toe..may I add...ONE bite into dinner...off to the ER...he was GREAT at the ER..hardly any crying..until they put lidocaine into the cut to numb it...then he wanted to fight us (and the 2 med techs) until he got up and he could see them stitching...

Steven says on the way home (he almost cried by the way--Steven that is NOT Connor)..."He's such a little man, a trooper, I was afraid his sisters were going to take his 'man gene's' away from him..I'm glad to see they didn't.." followed by a little snorting and coughing from me...

Last night I went to 'Love Bunco' and we of course give gifts at the end..So, since it was a 'Love' themed Bunco we gave Love themed gifts...mine was a Rubber Ducky..exactly like the one above. Woohoo...I think my new theme song may be:

So, anyone out there have a maid I can borrow for the day????

I have a Spice It Up party tommorrow..(Go on take a look there's some deliciously naughty stuff in there) ;)...and I CAN.NOT for the life of me get this damn house clean...I clean---they mess up..clean--mess...clean---mess..well you get the idea. I have about 10-15 or so people coming over and it's never going to get clean. It would help if certain people and I agreed on what clean was.

Tonight I'm going to play 'Love Bunco' LOL..it's naughty week here apparently. I won't tell you what's going to happen afterword but ho hum...:D..

Baking- only when I'm in the mood...so I guess no

Clothesline- Y/N? nope I live in 'apartment style housing' no clotheslines..and even IF I had one I'd be too lazy..

Donuts- Ever made them? no but there is a woman in a cart who makes the best ones..I COULD give them to the kids and tell them I made them huh???

Everyday- One homemaking thing you do everyday? laundry and it still never is all the way done.

Freezer- Do you have a separate deep freezer? - no but I need one...

Garbage Disposal- Y/N? - No these houses don't have one.

Handbook- Y/N? - what kind of handbook??? Did someone forget to give me one....

Ironing- hahahhahahhhahahahhh...that's all I gotta say

Junk Drawer- Where is it? - I liked having one so much, that I have two! In the kitchen--(OMG ME TOO!!!)

Kitchen- Design and decorating? - um white.

Love- What is your favorite part of homemaking? - Love homemaking...no but I would LOVE a MAID

Mop- Y/N? - Yes- every Flippin Day it seems like

Nylons- Wash by hand or in the washer? - well no thanks..

Oven- Do you use the window or open it to check? - Open to check

Pizza- What do you put on yours? - EVERYTHING

Quiet- What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment? - Define Quiet Moment..there are none..AND if it is quiet..someone's into something.

Recipe card box- Y/N? - No, but I have a BUTTLOAD of recipie books.

Style of house - 4br/2ba..military 'apartment style housing'

Tablecloths and napkins- Y/N? - I do have a tablecloth..it goes on and stays on for about 30 minutes before someone usually spills something on it..

Under the kitchen sink - the 'mini me' size maid I hold hostage down there..(Umm hello does she have a sister you could send me??)

Vacuum- How many times a week? About every other day, so 3-4 times

Wash- How many loads do you do a week? - 142 I think..

X's- Do you keep a list of things to do and cross them off? - again hahahhahahahahhah

Yard- Who does what? - we have no yard..

ZZZ's- What is your last homemaking task for the day? changing the toilet paper roll.

Confession...

I have a confession to make...I.AM.NOT.ONE.OF.THE.'COOL'.KIDS. I NEVER have been. I try so hard to be friends with people only to see other people--and here's another BIG confession for ya--people I don't feel are worthy make friends. Who am I to judge these other people though??? I guess my big problem is I try too hard. If you are my friend I will move heaven and earth for ya and expect nothing very little from you in return..Maybe just a call every once in a while--someone to laugh with and hang out with..I don't know something.

I'm beginning to think it's ME. S told me the other day I always HAD to have someone at every base I dislike and am fighting with, and then I'm like a RABID DOG..I want to make their life hell..I just can't let it go. I strive to see them fail--and when they don't (which they never do) I just keep watching..like it's a trainwreck.

I'm thinking of pulling myself out of all the little "social" groups I do here--OCSC (Officers Civilian's Spouses Club), Squadron Wive's Club, and well anything..because I just cannot deal with HER...Every time I see her I want to smack her face. This can't be healthy for me. I need to learn to FORGIVE and FORGET but it's so hard when every-flippin-time you turn around she's there. It doesn't help the ONE good friend (or I thought she was my friend) I have here has decided to be her friend and doing alot of things with her--and because me and her don't get along--I don't get invited or well they try to hide it from me.

Tell me I'm not just crazy...that you've had someone you've felt like this about before..even if it was me Toni ;)...

The second definition is what I'm talking about today...Is my life predetermined?? If I had chose A instead of B would I still be in the exact same position???

I'm kinda on the fence about it..I believe I still would've married Sheldon and then Steven...Kat, Liz and Connor were predestined to be my children. (Lucky them I know). BUT here's where I differ. I believe that you have choices with your life that everything isn't predetermined..Otherwise where would free will come in???

I find it hard to believe that some of the things I've gone through and put up with in my life were predetermined for ANYONE. What about things like Cancer and Aids??? Were these predetermined for someone to get or (in the case of Aids) was it YOUR choices that you used YOUR own free will to make that caused you to get the disease.

someone's not doing homework or turning it in...So NOT my favorite child right now...So, how do I punish her??

A. She wants to have a birthday party--take it away?? BUT she hasn't had a birthday party in 4 years...

B. Kill her?? I think that's illegal...so it's out

C. Beat her into submission? again I believe illegal..also out.

D. Take away ALL priveledges?? She has none...I think I'm going to ground her from TV on the week days, and well anything that sounds fun...

However, I'm still on the fence on the birthday party....I really want her to have one because she's getting at that age where she wants a "social" life...BUT I don't want to reward her for her grades or recent behaviour. GAW...someone help...Calgon take me AWAY!!

Becky's Cooking Tips #1

When trying to make Fried Chicken--MAKE SURE...the grease isn't too hot..otherwise you'll burn said fried chicken and smoke everyone out of the house building. Plus it's not fun when the firemen are laughing at you on the phone.

Better to just go get a bucket of KFC and said you made it..MUCH easier on everyone!!!

Happy Birthday Baby!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAT~~You are 12 years old today. It's been a great 12 years too..well, other than the attitude that has spawned from you lately.

I still remember the day I brought you home..all purple and wrinkly. Aunt Mandy invited EVERYONE in the whole flippin neighborhood to come in and see you and Your Daddy Sheldon and I changed you into every outfit we had for you and took pictures--only to go to Wal-Mart and get them developed THAT minute.

As you grow older you only get more beautiful every day. Here's to another great year. Could we possibly do it with less attitude though??

~~First of all--sick people have a sick smell to them~~and no it isn't all in my head..my hubs can now smell them too.

~~Second--Can they ever cover their mouths when they cough??? Oh yeah because they aren't miserable enough themselves...everyone has to be miserable with them.

~~Third--WHY OH WHY do ALL--EVERY.FRICKIN.ONE of my kids have to have a cold at the same time...cough cough hack hack that's all I flippin hear in this house.

UGH...I've got three kids here with a cold and cough...whiny whiny kids. They all want to lay all over me and whine. If one is on me the other has to come lay on me too.

Back to dealing with whiny kids and whiny husbands.

This has got to be the stupidest game known to man. Seriously. And I SUCK at it...seriously. So, why am I on the women's crud team for my squadron??? OH wait I know I MUST be asking for punishment.

It does have some funny terms though..such as Lips--the lips of your nether regions must not go past a certain point when you shoot...(If your a guy they call it balls)

buffoonary--when you throw the ball so hard it goes off the table..I just like saying "YOU BUFFOON".

recieve--well you can imagine the conotations to that one..as in "I would like to recieve"..."Yes, I bet you would"...

The kids actually like playing the game of crud too..go figure..heck all you have to do is shoot the ball ( with your hands) and body check block other players from shooting.
